Mike is the founder of MDHP and leads the firms investment committee. He serves on the board of Orthopaedic Solutions Management, Gastro MD, and Colosseum Dental.
One of the key differentiators of MDHP is the active role we take in each of our partnerships. As part of this strategy, Mike currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Orthopaedic Solutions Management.
Prior to founding MD Healthcare Partners, Mike served as Chief Executive Officer of Surgery Partners (NASDAQ: SGRY). Under his leadership, the company grew from a single location ambulatory surgery center operation into a publicly traded national player with over 160 locations in over 30 states. Prior to co-founding Surgery Partners, Mike spent more than a decade in various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Operations, at HealthSouth (Encompass Health, NASDAQ: EHC). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and a Master of Business Administration from Troy State University in Alabama.
